OK, so this is a little belated. But there’s a reason for that.
I love the trend started by My One Word of having your New Year’s Resolution be just one word. As one who appreciates good (read, minimalist) design, I thought, how great is this?
Well it’s taken me a couple months of “living in” my one word to really own it. Here it is:
REAL
I think this year will be one that reveals me for who I really am. Am I “the real deal?”
Will I really love my wife and three boys unconditionally?
Will I really follow God anywhere?
Will I really give discipleship the priority I say it has in my life and in the Church?
Will I really say what I mean and mean what I say?
Will I really accomplish my goals?
Will I really make a difference and help others do the same?
Yes, I will! Because I am the real deal.
